Eliminate bump-steer and increase steering accuracy at the limit with our Suspension Secrets Adjustable Bump Steer Tie Rod Ends for the Porsche 718 Cayman/Boxster.

Whilst lowering your Porsche using lowering springs or coilovers is a great way of improving cornering grip. A lower ride height can lead to bump-steer, where the toe geometry angles change dynamically as your Porsche drives over bumps when cornering, such as when running kerbs on a race track. Bump-steer reduces steering feel and impedes driver confidence at the limit.

We've designed our Suspension Secrets Adjustable Bump Steer Tie Rod Ends for the Porsche 718 Cayman/Boxster to help completely remove bump-steer from your Porsche. Our stainless steel bump steer tie rod ends are fully adjustable allowing you to match the angle of the tie rods to the angle of the suspension arms.

The key features of our Suspension Secrets Adjustable Bump Steer Tie Rod Ends for the Porsche Cayman/Boxster (718) are:

  • Removal of bump-steer from the chassis
  • Fully adjustable
  • Improved steering feel
  • Reduced understeer
  • Increases confidence at the limit
Suspension Secrets' products are designed and manufactured in the UK. Our products are made from billet aircraft-grade 6082 T6 aluminium and corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel. We use motorsport-spec Fluro bearings for maximum performance and longevity.

Our Suspension Secrets Porsche 718 Cayman/Boxster Adjustable Bump Steer Tie Rod Ends help to reduce bump-steer entirely and prevent any changes to your toe-angle settings. We've included this extra tab to explain just what bump-steer is.

Bump-Steer

Bump steer is a change in the steering angle of the wheel when the wheel is in bump or droop without turning of the steering wheel. This is due to the arc patterns of the wishbones and the steering arm having different radii and start points.

Bump steer is highly undesirable especially on tracks or roads that contain bumps. Bumps and undulations cause the suspension to constantly transition between bump and droop and the steering of a car with bump-steer will constantly be shifting the steering angle of the car, which destabilises the front end.
