Introducing brand new upgrades developed by Suspension Secrets: Front and Rear Camber Plate Top Mounts for the Porsche 981/718 Cayman GTS and GTS 4.0.
Inspired by our best selling top mount upgrades for the Cayman GT4 and GT4 RS, these new GTS camber plates are a direct replacement for the factory parts. They significantly increase the range of camber adjustment on both axles to unlock more handling performance.
Designed and developed in-house, the new Suspension Secrets camber plates for the 981/718 GTS and GTS 4.0 allow more effective fast road and track settings to be applied to the suspension geometry.
Cayman GTS Front Camber Plates
As standard, the 981/718 chassis only allows up to -1.0 degrees of camber to be applied on the front axle. With Suspension Secrets Camber Caster Plate Top Mounts installed, you can achieve up to -2.3 degrees on stock road springs. If your GTS is equipped with lowering springs, our new front camber plates make -3.1 degrees of negative camber attainable (figure measured with 30mm H&R lowering springs; all figures ride height dependent).
Furthering the sophistication of our GTS front camber plates is the +2.0 degrees of in-built caster. More caster angle means more steering feel and more stability at higher speeds. More positive caster also unlocks even more camber angle as the wheels are turned – improving cornering grip.
Cayman GTS Rear Camber Plates
The stock rear suspension of the Cayman GTS is similarly restrictive in terms of adjustment. Without modification, it’s only possible to achieve up to -1.6 degrees of camber on the rear axle.
Our new ‘Stage 1’ Suspension Secrets Rear Camber Plate Top Mounts are perfect for Fast Road and occasional Track setups. These upgrade parts unlock up to -2.1 degrees of rear camber with stock road springs. When teamed with lowering springs, our rear top mounts achieve up to -3.0 degrees of camber at the rear of the GTS (ride height dependent).
The ‘Stage 2’ version of our Cayman GTS rear top mounts are ideal for cars used on track. These new Suspension Secrets parts provide between -2.6 degrees and -3.5 degrees of negative rear camber.
With more negative camber dialled into the rear axle of the Cayman GTS, more of the tyre surface is in contact with the road through corners. The increases grip, enhances stability and makes tyre wear more consistent, prolonging the life of the rubber.
